There are no longer brick-heavy textbooks or notebooks. All materials
are delivered via a 'smart pad', as the teachers lecture on an
interactive electronic board. Students and teachers exchange their ideas
in real-time through the pad.
In this virtual class, students get a grip on English dialogue by
being dropped into various situations. This is a subway station in the
U.S., and the student is given a task to help a woman find her lost
wallet.
And even robots are being used to help students learn the 'smart' way.

very fun using a textbook because it's all about reading and taking
notes. But in this virtual environment, it feels so real as if they
exist.

children can exchange information in real-time, and that they can also
instantly look up whatever they are curious about".
Four schools embedded with the latest information and communications
technologies such as this one opened in Sejong City in southern
Chungcheong Province where nine ministries and several other government
agencies will be relocated in the next two years.
All 150 schools scheduled to be built in Sejong City will be equipped with the same facilities.
